The Jim Leslie Collection

The Jim Leslie Collection is an International Exhibition celebrating over 130 years of Photographic Equipment.

With over 730 exhibits, Lochaber Rural Education Trust are extremely fortunate, and particularly grateful to Mr. James Leslie, who after a lifetime of collecting has loaned, on a long-term basis, this unique collection to the Trust.

Several individual display themes have been created to demonstrate and simulate different facets of our rural heritage in the Lochaber area. Therefore, we see that the Jim Leslie Collection will not only play a major role within the living Agricultural Museum, but will also become established as a valuable and extremely important exhibition within its own right.

This unique and fully interactive experience will appeal to both members of the local community and visitors to the area, but without doubt, will be enjoyed by all. To whet your appetite we have chosen a selection of exhibits from the wide and diverse range of the collection.
